After installing PCM in Windows 7, I am not able to see the actual putty session when connecting. The tab that supposed to be connected to putty is blank however the connection setting on the bottom task bar shows that its opened.

Any ideas?

That’s strange! I guess putty.exe itslef might be having problem. Launch it separately and check if it works fine.

I cannot download puttycm from any of the above mentioned links.. Those pages are opening in some other language and it says: Error 403 – Refusal of request processing (Forbidden – Forbidden)

The server understood the request but is refusing to fulfill. An authentication process will not help and the request should not be renewed. If the method invoked is different from HEAD and the server wishes to make public why he refuses treatment, he will do in the entity associated with this response. This status code is often used when the server does not wish to dwell on the reasons for refusing access, or because it’s the only answer that works. You try to access a resource to you prohibited. It may be that the relevant account is suspended (see Management Console)
Can you help?

Yes, there is a problem with the site..It has gone down few days back.. The license of this software does not allow one to redistribute it.. otherwise I would have shared it on my site..
I am trying to contact the author if it’s fine with him to share it.. I will provide an update on that soon.. Meanwhile see if you can use the alternatives for putty connection manager. Terminals is one very good alternative for puttycm.

Putty Connection Manager is no long under development, I use it a lot and recently really struggled to find a working copy to download since the original site is no longer active.

I managed to find a copy one of my old machines and have uploaded it to make it easier for other people to use it, hopefully you will find this useful.
